GARMIN NAVIGATION

Garmin Navigation Systems lead the way with voice-prompted turn-by-turn directions that speak street names to get you to your destination on time and keep you informed. These systems announce exits and street names so that you never have to take your eyes off of the road. Garmin Systems also allow you to customize your own points of interest.  Not only can Garmin Systems be used for navigation, they also possess many tools such as a JPEG picture viewer, world travel clock with time zones, currency converter, measurement converter, calculator, and more.

GARMIN MOBILE RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

Garmin portable navigation devices (PNDs) are a key part of today's most useful, versatile and cost-efficient fleet monitoring solutions.Working with our Fleet Management System, Garmin PNDs provide the interactive navigation link that's been missing in fleet management systems. The Garmin PNDs double as navigators and mobile data terminals in the vehicle, while the "black box" data transponder unit provides seamless connectivity to the monitoring center via a wireless mobile data network. Garmin's fleet management and dispatch messaging interface enables direct-to-driver communication via text messaging, as well as instant re-routing with "new destination" message prompts.

Available features with Garmin and Fleet Management

  • Text Message Feature—Allows text messages to sent/received, confirmation that a message was read.

  • Stop (Destination) Programming—The Garmin can display a list of set Stops/Jobs, status of current stop/job in progress, how far driver has progressed through list of stops/jobs, confirmation the driver has     received a stop/jobs, read its details, deleted stop/job from list and if stop/job was completed.
